In addition to the basic information about the Express to Connect project, the fact sheet provides a short summary of the addressed challenge, an outline of the methodology, and expectations of results and impacts.
Newsletter
E2C Newsletter
In the first issue of the E2C Newsletter, we tell about the motives behind the Express to Connect project and about user-driven methods, such as REALplay workshops. We also give an insight on what has been accomplished during the first year, including Ser vice concept testing with approximately 50 retired persons.
National E2C Newsletters
In addition to English E2C Newsletter, we publish newsletters in Danish, Dutch, Finnish and Swedish. The national E2C Newsletters are more focused on activities on a local level. For example, in the first issue there are interviews with seniors who were involved in the game concept workshops.

Subscribe to the newsletter for the latest Express to Connect news and events. You can subscribe the newsletter either in English or one of the following languages: Danish, Dutch, Finnish and Swedish. The E2C newsletters are published twice a year.

Express to connect – preventing loneliness and enriching the lives of the elderly
The Express to Connect project addresses the European-wide challenge of ageing. It is estimated that by 2050, the number of people over 80 will double in Europe. Being old increases the risk of becoming lonely and isolated.
